Trickle trickle

It was Hallowe'en last week and while the light evenings don't provide much of a spooky atmosphere, that didn't seem to diminish Reuben and Tilly's excitement - probably because they were very keen to go trick or treating for the first time and sweets are still sweets whatever the time of year.

Although that's not what it's known as in our house.  'When I was little, I thought it was called trickle treat!!' Reuben declared in a superior kind of voice.   Errm, as long ago as last week, matey...  Tilly is still convinced that it really is 'trickle treat' so we'll give her the last word.  'Oooh', she exclaimed when they got home.  'I love trickle treating.  I got so many trickle treats!'
