Discovered Reuben's latest plan for world domination while having a clear-out earlier. If it was a secret, he shouldn't have left it lying around, should he?
He spends A LOT of time working on drawings like this one, and no doubt he's moved on to a later version by now, so I can share this one without spoiling his current plot. You should be able to spot:
- missile
- spiky wheels
- plasma guns
- twin rocket launchers
- triple lasers
- cyborg troops, and
- troop vehicles.
While we're on the subject of things children do, here's a conversation that Reuben and Tilly had:
T: what's that there?
R: chocolates.
T: how do you know?
R: because I saw inside.
T: [v. matter of fact] because you've got x-ray ability.
R: because it's got a plastic lid.
T: because it's got a plastic lid?
R: yes, so I saw inside.
I could tell from Tilly's tone of voice that she genuinely thought that superpowers were at play here. Hope she wasn't too disappointed that the real answer was more prosaic. By the way, this week she is wanting to be 'a horserider, a cooker and a doctor' when she grows up. This is liable to change - I'll keep you all posted.
