And we have lift off!

Sharing a cheeky cracker with best friend Eléanore
We haven't had a blog post about Harriet for a while, but stand by for a major announcement…
yep, she's finally walking.  Dave happened to have the phone out when Harriet decided to be mobile so we caught the moment on video.  You can see the first steps captured for posterity and see how much she improves over the course of a week by clicking here.  Since then she's increased her range to half the length of the kitchen (I did happen to be offering a cracker at the time though!)

She's kept us waiting a while - Reuben walked at 14 months (in the departure hall at Pisa airport two days after this photo)

and Tilly at just under 13 months (in Leeds a couple of weeks after this photo)

but I guess Harriet has waited until 16 months because she's been too busy with other stuff - as well as working on her large and increasing vocabulary and her growing repertoire of songs, she's just produced four molars, so maybe she needed to get that out of the way to have enough energy for ambulation!
