Harriet shows a range of emotions

What could possibly make Harriet pull a face like this?
Feel the full force of my displeasure, miserable offender

"Nooo! Dave! Stop! You're upsetting me!" Children's tea time. Dave bursts into song. He's barely got to the end of the first line before Harriet starts protesting. Oh dear - but he should be used to it - Tilly used to say "Stop songing Daddy" in her crossest voice.

See a resemblance with this famous bear?

"Why do I feel so... uncomfortable... flushed... queasy?" "It's called a hard stare. My Aunt Lucy taught me."

Here's a less threatening expression. I call it the mildly surprised 'what, you mean I shouldn't have climbed up here and helped myself to a croissant? Oh well, I'll just zap you with my cuteness ray' face.

Resistance is futile. You will succumb to my charms!

  1. That is so like Jess its almost uncanny. Carol's then partner Pete used to run out of the room when Jess gave him one of those looks.

  2. Maybe it's in the Burdekin genes, though I think I'm just a carrier of the hard stare gene because I don't remember ever pulling that kind of face myself. No photographic evidence anyway!
